COSTUME CHECKLIST

Costumes are listed in the order they will be performed on concert day. Students should arrive in their first costume for both concert & photo day.

Concert Day Drop Off Procedure

Our preschool students will have their performances split into our two halves:

  • Act I - Mini Movers

  • Act II - Pre Kindy Ballet & Pre Kindy Jazz

ALL students will need to be signed in at 1:30pm so that all children can be accounted for.

Please enter the venue foyer from the Peace Park entrance. An Ignite staff member/volunteer will usher you to our preschool holding room on the ground level.

Students will need to arrive dressed in their first costume, with hair done (and makeup, if you wish to use it).

One adult per student will be asked to bring their child & belongings in, and to sign in with the backstage crew.

PRE-SCHOOL TICKETS

If your pre-school performer is over 3 and/or requires a seat for the other half of the show, a ticket will need to be purchased.

You will be emailed a discount code to access a special ticket type “Preschool Performer” so that you can purchase a seat for no cost. Further details will be emailed to you.

MINI MOVERS

Once your child is settled you will be asked to leave the dressing room by 2pm, so that the space can be as settled as possible. Your child will need to remain in the dressing room throughout the whole first half of the show.

A 15 min interval will take place at approximately 3:40pm

During the interval, ONE parent per child will be asked to collect their child from the dressing room, sign them out and take their belongings. Students are welcome to sit with their parents for the remainder of the show. If you wish, you will be permitted to leave at this point and not return for the second half, however all students will be invited back onstage for our finale.

PRE-KINDY BALLET & PRE-KINDY JAZZ

Once your child has been signed in and their belongings dropped off, you will be asked to take them with you into the auditorium. Students will sit with their parents during the first half of the show.

A 15 min interval will take place at approximately 3:40pm

During interval, ONE parent per child will be asked to bring their child to the dressing room and check them back in, ready to perform in the second half. We will have limited time during this interval, and so we ask parents to leave the dressing room as soon as their child is settled.

Concert Day Pick Up Procedure

At the end of the show, all students will be on stage following a short presentation.

Pre-school parents ONLY will be asked to make their way to the pre-school room to collect their children.

We know how exciting it is to see your little dancer afterwards, but please ensure only one adult per child enters the room to collect them, and meet the rest of your family & friends in outside to celebrate instead :)
